The glitz and glamour of Bollywood met the world of emerging cinema today as The Short Film Festival – Bolti Khidkiyaan, presented by Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company (MCCC), rolled out its red carpet at PVR, Infinity Mall, Andheri West. The annual festival, now in its 2026 edition, continues to provide a dynamic platform for aspiring filmmakers, spotlighting fresh voices in Indian cinema.
The event saw a star-studded turnout with notable Bollywood personalities gracing the red carpet. Rajkummar Rao, Farah Khan, Sonam Bajwa, Abhishek Banerjee, Ahsaas Channa, Arhaan Khan, Ayesha Khan, Fardeen Khan, Anup Soni, Sargun Mehta, Medha Rana, Abhimanyu Dasani, and Saloni Batra were among the celebrities in attendance, adding glamour to the occasion.
Bolti Khidkiyaan is dedicated to discovering and nurturing new talent. It offers selected filmmakers opportunities for film financing, mentorship, and cinema screenings, helping them navigate the intricacies of the film industry. The top five short films of the festival receive personal guidance from renowned casting director Mukesh Chhabra and mentorship from leading Bollywood directors, ensuring that promising talent gets a strong launchpad.
